Grade garlic "Irene" - innovation of Ukrainian farmers

For 12 years, the company "Pure Product", which is based in the Dnipropetrovsk region, is engaged in the cultivation and sale of garlic. At the beginning of the farm, fragrant vegetables occupied an area of ​​about a hectare, but now the company grows garlic on more than 100 hectares of land.

In 2018, Pure Product registered their own variety of garlic called Irene. After that, the farming structure changed - the company began growing garlic in parts: one half goes for sale, the other is used as seed. This was told by Sergey Parashchenko, the founder and head of the "Clean Product".

  • The farmer argues that "Irene" has a number of advantages in comparison with the chen of any other variety. These include: resistance to low temperatures, crop quality, virus resistance, high final weight of the product.

    "Here we take the head" Irene "in the hand, and the head of another sort of garlic, one caliber, one faction, and put it on the scales, there is a difference of 20-25%, and this is significant. In addition, when we take a caliber larger than 4mm that of 10 heads of some sort will be much less than 4mm + caliber than of the same 10 Irene heads, both in weight and quantity. This is also a very important factor, because plants are constantly in the active life cycle, they do not degenerate "- says the farmer-entrepreneur.
