This is stated by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine with a preview of the new bill. With such a ban, the Ministry of Health claims, it is necessary to introduce new alternative methods of testing cosmetics and household chemicals. 
As the department explains, taking into account the clear European integration vector of Ukraine’s development, changes in various spheres of life require improvement and more active actions towards the quality and safety of cosmetic products.
The Ministry of Health also explains that this project will help to find alternative types of cosmetics tests, as well as to make society more humane towards animals.
