Eriprim BT is a complex antimicrobial drug.

It is successfully used to treat various diseases in poultry and animals.

Powdered substance is white, a slight yellowish tint is possible.

The composition has:

  • tylosin tartrate - 0.05 g;
  • sulfadimezin - 0.175 g;
  • Trimopan - 0.035 g;
  • colistin sulfate - 300,000 IU.

The drug is packaged in plastic film bags. Net weight - 100 g and 500 g

Biological properties

The drug consists of antibiotics of various actions, so it can successfully fight against both gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. The main active substance is tylosin - an antibiotic whose action is based on preventing the formation of its own proteins by microorganisms.

Colistin destroys the membrane of the cytoplasm, simply speaking, breaks the bacterial membrane. The substance has a local antimicrobial effect, it is not absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract. The other two components prevent the growth of bacteria.

After the drug enters the bird's body, its active substances, with the exception of colistin, are absorbed through the stomach and intestines into the blood. The highest content of a substance in the blood comes after about 2.5 hours.

Did you know? When testing tylosin, the main active component of Eriprim BT, the animals were injected with doses of the drug three times higher than the therapeutic ones. Testing has shown that even at this dosage, the antibiotic does not have a negative effect on the experimental body. Animals normally gained weight, and their hemoglobin increased.

Within 12 hours after administration, the content of the drug is sufficient in the body to counteract the majority of microbes. Metabolism products are excreted through the intestines and urinary system.

Eriprim BT is used to treat poultry and animals for problems associated with the digestive, respiratory and urinary systems, as well as the main infectious diseases:
