Veterinary drug "Ligfol": instructions, dosage

It has long been known that not only humans, but also animals are subject to the influence of stress factors - long-term transportation, climate change, childbirth, change of owner and place of residence, exposure to strong noise lead to anxiety and worsening of animals' well-being. In addition, they are detected tumor diseases. It became possible to solve these problems since 1995, when at the All-Russian Scientific Research Veterinary Institute of Pathology, Pharmacology and Therapy under the guidance of Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Buzlama V.S. together with LLC Ligfarm, the drug Ligfol was developed, which was successfully tested.

Composition and release form, packaging

According to the instructions for use, the drug "Ligfol" is recommended for animals used in agriculture, birds, fur animals, dogs, cats. The composition includes humic substances, which are extracted with the help of water exposure to stiffened plant cell walls (lignin).

As well as the composition contains decidic sodium pyrophosphate, sodium chloride and demineralized water. Available in the form of liquid liquid black chocolate, which has a slightly pronounced smell.

Pharmacological properties

The effect of "Ligfola" on the animal's body is manifested in adaptation to stress factors, increasing the body's resistance to the negative effect of their action, improving performance, neutralizing free radicals, activating immune system cells, including in the fight against viruses and tumors (proliferative mastitis, fibrosarcoma , tumor diseases of the mammary gland, venereal sarcoma, etc.). The drug is effective in combating hepatitis, enteritis, contributes to the recovery after surgery, injuries, injuries, reduces anxiety during transportation, vaccination, various veterinary activities.

Indications for use

"Ligfol" is indicated for use in the following cases:

  1. Tumors in animals.
  2. Improving the growth of young animals.
  3. Before weaning from the mother.
  4. Before shipment.
  5. Before using vaccines.
  6. Before bonding to improve performance.
  7. During pregnancy - to improve the quality of offspring.
  8. Birds - to increase the number of eggs.
  9. For the treatment of diseases of the liver and pancreas.
  10. For the prevention of complications after childbirth.
  11. For better reproducibility after anesthesia.
  12. In case of diseases caused by viruses.
  13. When injured, wounded, burns.
  14. When treating worms in horses and dogs.
To combat the worms in veterinary medicine are used drugs like "Alben", "Levamizol", "Tetramizol" and "Ivermek".
Important! In the process of testing "Ligfole", it was found that almost 50% of dogs can cure tumors completely, the number of stillborn piglets in pregnant pigs has decreased, and the infertile period of cows has decreased.

Order of use and dosage

The tool is used in such doses: To increase the body's resistance to stress factors, once in the form of intramuscular injections a few days before the event:

  • cats, dogs, birds, fur animals weighing up to 10 kg - 0.1 ml per 1 kg of weight;
  • young animals weighing up to 10 kg - 0.5 ml per 1 kg of weight;
  • cats, dogs, birds, fur animals, sheep, young animals weighing more than 10 kg - 1 ml per 1 kg of weight;
  • pigs - 3 ml per 1 animal.
  • horses, cattle - 5 ml per 1 animal.

2. For the treatment of tumors in dogs and cats you need to prick "Ligfol" at the rate of 0.1 ml per 1 kg of weight 5 to 7 times every two days; after a week has passed, injections are recommended to be repeated.

3. Prophylactic to eliminate complications after childbirth:

  • large and small cattle, pigs - 2-3 weeks before childbirth and again a couple of hours after them;
  • horses - 2 months before giving birth once every week and again a couple of hours after giving birth.
Familiarize yourself with the nuances of breeding such breeds of pigs as: Hungarian mangalica, Mirgorod, red-belt, large white, petren, karmala and Vietnamese vislobryuhaya.

4. For the treatment of wounds - in the form of lotions from pure "Ligfola" or diluted one-to-one 4 times a day. Injections are also recommended at the dosage described above.

5. Before mating:

  • large and small cattle, horses, pigs - 1 time 3 days before mating;
  • fur animals - the first time a month before mating, the second time a month before giving birth;
  • cats and dogs - 1 injection each 10, 6 and 3 days before mating.
6. To increase the survival of offspring:

  • calves - 4 times 1 injection every 5 days of life;
  • to foals in 15, 20, 25, 60, 90 days;
  • for piglets - 3 days before weaning and 10 days after weaning;
  • lambs - 7 and 14 days after birth, before reaching 6 months - 1 injection per month.
7. Animals for fattening - 1 injection per month.

8. In diseases of the liver and pancreas - 6 shots with an interval of 3 days.

9. Before surgery - 1 injection 5 days before.

10. After surgery - 1 injection at the first hour after that, after 24 hours, and 5 more shots after 7 days each.

11. For the treatment of surgical sutures - lotion 1 time per day until healing.

12. Viral diseases - the first 2 injections in 24 hours, if the disease is severe - then every 5 days for a month.

13. Sports horses - 1 shot 3 days before the competition. 14. Horses with antihelminthic treatment - 1 injection 3 days before and on the day of treatment. If necessary, another injection is given at 5, 15, 45 days after treatment.

15. To dogs and horses in conjunction with the treatment of piroplasmosis (babesiosis) - 1 injection 30 minutes before treatment, after - up to 6 injections every 3 days.

Precautions and special instructions

It is recommended to adhere to the above drug treatment regimen, otherwise its effectiveness may decrease.

The effects of an overdose remedy are not known. "Ligfol" can be combined with other drugs and additives. Meat and milk of animals that have been treated with Ligfol can be used by people not earlier than 6 days after the last injection.

With the introduction of the drug should follow the rules of work with drugs. If the tool accidentally gets on the skin, in the eyes - they should be washed well. If the remedy was accidentally swallowed by a person or injected into it, it is necessary, without delaying, to seek medical help, taking the Ligfol ampoule with them. Ampoules from under a preparation need to be utilized, for further use in life they are not suitable.

Contraindications and side effects

There is no evidence of the impossibility of appointing "Ligfole". Sometimes, after the first injection, the temperature may slightly rise, which does not require additional treatment or dose adjustment. It happens that the animals feel the pain of the introduction of funds, which quickly passes.

Important! Immediately after the injection, the animal may for some time fuss, whine, or otherwise express discomfort from pain during an injection, which will pass in 20 minutes.
The drug must be injected no later than 5 hours before anesthesia, otherwise the effect of the drug may be weakened.

Shelf life and storage conditions

"Ligfol" should be stored in a dry dark room at a temperature not lower than +10 ° C and not higher than +25 ° C, there should not be any animal feed or food for people, packaging should be closed. Access to the facility for children should be restricted. In such conditions, the drug will not lose effectiveness within 2 years from the date of production. An open ampoule or a bottle of the drug should be consumed during the day. Use for the treatment of a product that has expired is prohibited.

Thus, Ligfol is a broad-acting drug, it helps both to increase stress resistance or strengthen the immune system when it is necessary, as well as for tumors and postpartum complications. The drug for a long time is not excreted from the body and continues to act, which enhances the effect.
