Rezeda is a genus of herbaceous plants. There are one-year, two-year and long-term. Consists of up to 60 species of these herbs. The plant comes from North Africa, is most widely represented in the Mediterranean region.

Cultivation is practiced mainly of two types:
- fragrant - An annual plant, up to 40 cm high, with a thick pyramidal spike of flowers;
- white - taller than fragrant, reaches 100 cm, has beautiful white flowers and a pleasant smell.

Remove faded flowers. This will preserve the aesthetic appearance of the plant and stimulate the growth of new flowers. 
The plant is not sick. Rarely affected by pests. Whitefish caterpillars against which insecticides can be used (Kinmiks, Fitoverm) are dangerous.

In addition to the pleasant smell, this flower is also a medicinal plant. In folk medicine, this plant is used as an analgesic, diuretic and diaphoretic. Strong essential oils are used in aromatherapy.
