In late April, the European Parliament will provide additional trade preferences for Ukraine

According to the statement of the head of the mission of Ukraine in the European Union, the ambassador, Nikolay Tochitsky, made on February 8, at the end of April 2017, the European Parliament will accept the proposal of the European Commission to increase trade preferences for Ukraine. According to him, today the proposal for additional preferential customs duties is under consideration in the European Parliament, and this issue should be considered at the meeting of the relevant committee, and then the European deputies will discuss it in plenary session. In addition, N. Tochitsky stressed that the European Council will take a final decision on this issue. Therefore, it is difficult to predict the final completion time of all procedures. Experts suggest that the process will be delayed until the end of April this year.
