Breeding history
The hybrid variety Zabava was bred by the Ukrainian amateur breeder as a result of the crossing of the varieties Kodryanka and Laura. The shape of the leaves and tallness Zabava took over from Laura.
The grade is intended for cultivation in Ukraine, on the most part of Russia and Belarus. Due to its frost resistance, it is considered promising for cultivation in the Urals and Siberia.
Among the cold-resistant varieties are also known the Beauty of the North, Super Extra and Isabella.

- Zabava (Laura black) extremely fruitful grape variety. Because of this, the bush requires regular pruning of 5-8 eyes, so as not to overload the vine.
- It has a high winter hardiness, can withstand temperatures down to -25C. However, in the northern areas, do not forget about carefully wrapping the bush for the winter. Grows best on fertile black soil.
- This grape is resistant to gray rot and oidium, but can be affected by mildew, attacked by wasps and other pests.

Diseases and pests
