In Ukraine, on the territory of the Zaporozhye region, namely, in the Kamianko-Dneprovsky district, two quarantine organisms were discovered: the potato and South American tomato moth. This was reported by the State Service Department of the region. 
Now the quarantine on these organisms has been introduced in Kamyanka-Dneprovskaya, p. Big Znamyanka, s.Vodyanoe. These areas of the region are engaged in large-scale production of tomatoes and potatoes.
For the period of quarantine, the State Service Specialists recommend that farmers, at their own expense, do a set of actions to localize and destroy potato and tomato moths. According to the State Service, about 32 hectares of land in the area are already infected.
